KEKAHA
EnhanceFitness classes offered for ages 60-plus

Kaua'i westside residents age 60 and older can participate in the EnhanceFitness program, a low-impact and strength training program aimed at improving the health of Kaua'i's kupuna.

The program was launched at the Koloa and Waimea neighborhood centers last year and recently opened at the Kekaha neighborhood center.

In Kekaha, classes are held Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 8 to 9 a.m., and are taught by certified instructors.

Registration is being handled through Kaua'i Economic Opportunity Inc.
