A two-day surf contest for surfers of all experience levels will kick off tomorrow at Kuhio Beach in Waikiki.

The event is sponsored by Hope Chapel Waikiki, and entry into the contest costs $10.

Surfers should report to the beach (in front of the Duke Kahanamoku statue) at 6:45 a.m. tomorrow to participate.

Hope Chapel Waikiki will also hold free cardio-pulmonary resuscitation classes, at 10 a.m. tomorrow and Sunday.

Also on Sunday, in addition to the awards ceremony for the surfing contest, there will be a family picnic at 10 a.m.

Any proceeds from the two-day festivities will go to the children of Della Lynn Dikito, who was apparently killed by her husband in a murder-suicide April 25.
