Car fans are in for a treat tomorrow with two revved-up shows:

  • More than 70 classic British cars will be displayed from 9:30 a.m. tomorrow at Kapi'olani Park, near the Waikiki Shell's mauka parking lot, in a show hosted by the British Car Club of Hawaii.

Among the beauties: roadsters from the 1950s, Rolls-Royces, Jaguars and Minis. The cars will pass through Waikiki at 9 a.m.; and the event closes at 2:30 p.m. with a trophy ceremony. It's free. 551-1929.

  • Tricked-out Scions will rule the fourth annual School Supply Drive, sponsored by Scion Evolution Hawai'i Car Club, Scion Hawai'i and Hawaii Superferry, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. tomorrow at Aloha Tower Marketplace.

Besides the rides on display, there are giveaways and other activities. Admission is free, but attendees are encouraged to donate school supplies such as boxes of crayons, composition books, portfolios, backpacks, calculators, No. 2 pencils — the basics for children in need. The event benefits Helping Hands Hawai'i's Ready to Learn program. 753-2938.
