Advertiser Staff

Big City Diner raised $5,300 yesterday in a benefit to assist four 'Ewa children who lost both their parents in a murder-suicide April 25.

The money will assist Blayne Dikito, 18, and his three sisters — Brelynn, 15, Bronlyn, 13, and Brenna "Aloha," 8 — funds to cover two months of their family's $2,600 mortgage, said Walter Enriquez Jr., corporate director of human resources for Big City Diner.

Five Big City Diner locations participated in yesterday's benefit in which the company contributed 15 percent of customers checks to the children's fund when a special flyer was presented.

Check donations payable to Blayne Dikito are being accepted at all Big City Diner locations, Enriquez said.
