After the success of "Morton's Steak Bible" (Clarkson & Potter, 2006), Morton's The Steakhouse restaurants are seeking diners' best recipes for possible inclusion in a sequel, due out in 2009. Creative dishes from entrees to desserts and even cocktails will be included. In addition to appearing in the cookbook, the top recipe will win its creator an all-expense-paid trip for two to Chicago for a special dinner at the original Morton's on State and Rush Streets, hosted by "Steak Bible" author Klaus Fritsch, who co-founded the legendary restaurant with Arnie Morton 30 years ago.

Complete rules: www.mortons.com/recipecontest. Deadline: June 2. A panel of experts will judge the recipes.
