Your weekend weather: Sunny and clear

Advertiser Staff

Moderate trade winds and a stable and somewhat dry pattern of mainly windward and mauka showers will continue into early next week, the National Weather Service said.

Trade winds will ease throughout next week as the ridge north of the islands weakens, forecasters said.

Fine trade wind weather is expected to last the weekend.

Moderate northeasterly trade winds will veer to a more typical east northeast direction by Sunday as a low level high pressure area far northwest of the islands moves north of the state.

Here's a closer look at the weekend weather expectations:

Today: Sunny, with a high near 84. East wind around 15 mph.

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 71. East wind between 11 and 14 mph.

Sunday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 70. East wind between 11 and 14 mph.
