CFB: Starting streak ends for Purdue's injured QB Painter

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Curtis Painter's starting streak ended at 40 games when sophomore Justin Siller started at quarterback for Purdue against Michigan.

Painter separated a shoulder last week against Minnesota and his status to continue the nation's longest current streak wasn't announced until game time Saturday.
