A man living in an add-on residential structure in Kalihi which partially collapsed Oct. 26 has been located and is safe, police said today.

Reno Dawson, 42, contacted relatives on Saturday. Dawson was among the estimated 50 people living in the structure at 1732 Gulick Ave., which has been shut down for safety reasons. All except Dawson had been accounted for, so police issued a bulletin through Honolulu CrimeStoppers seeking public assistance to determine his whereabouts.
