CBKB: It's unanimous, Paris is a preseason All-American

Associated Press

Oklahoma center Courtney Paris tops The Associated Press' preseason All-America team, becoming only the sixth unanimous choice to make the squad.

Joining Paris on the team released Tuesday are Connecticut's Maya Moore, Louisville's Angel McCoughtry, Maryland's Kristi Toliver, and Oklahoma State's Andrea Riley.

For the first time, Paris was on every ballot of the 45-member national media panel. Previous unanimous selections were Chamique Holdsclaw, Diana Taurasi, Alana Beard, Seimone Augustus and Candace Parker.

Paris was two votes short of being unanimous last season, and three shy as a sophomore.
