ACCLAMATION INSURANCE MANAGEMENT SERVICES

Patrick Nii has been promoted to vice president-Hawaii Division of Acclamation Insurance Management Services.

Formerly the risk manager for the Hawaii Division of Safeway, Nii joined AIMS in 2000 and most recently was its property and liability manager.

HAWAI'I THEATRE CENTER

Hawai'i Theatre Center has elected its 2008-2009 officers and seven new members to the board of directors.

Bank of Hawaii vice chair Shelley Thompson was re-elected to a third one-year term as chairman of the board.

Serving as vice chairs are: Linda Ahlers, community volunteer and former president of Marshall Field Co.; Richard Fried, partner with Cronin Fried Sekiya Kekina & Fairbanks; Karen HuffmaN, president of QSR Hawaii; Jeffrey Miller, partner with Bushnell & Miller; Mary Weyand, community volunteer; and Mark Wong, chairman, Commercial Data Systems.

Paul Schraff, a partner with Dwyer Schraff Meyer Grant & Green, will serve as treasurer, and community volunteer Anne Swanson will serve as secretary.

New directors joining the board this year are: John Blanco, managing director, The Kahala Hotel & Resort; Richard Bradley, chairman and president, Bradley Holdings Limited; Sharon Shiroma Brown, senior vice president of sales service and training, First Hawaiian Bank; Terri Ann Motosue, managing partner, Carlsmith Ball; Don Murphy, owner, Murphy's Bar & Grill; Keoni Wagner, vice president, public affairs, Hawaiian Airlines; and Barbara Wong, businesswoman and community volunteer.
