State football just about booked up

State football tournament berths are getting close to completion.

In Division I, Farrington and Kahuku clinched two of the O'ahu Interscholastic Association's three berths with semifinal wins last week. They play for the OIA Red championship, 7:30 p.m. Friday at Aloha Stadium.

The league's third berth will be determined Saturday in the third-place game between Wai'anae at Leilehua. Prior to that, the JV championship between the same schools starts at 4 p.m.

Baldwin has clinched the Maui Interscholastic League's Division I berth, as did Kealakehe in the Big Island Interscholastic Federation DI.

The Interscholastic League of Honolulu Division I berth has yet to be determined. The earliest it will be determined is Nov. 12, when Punahou plays Saint Louis.

In Division II, Radford will play Campbell for the OIA White title 4:30 p.m. Friday at Aloha Stadium. They have the two OIA Division II state berths.

Kaua'i clinched the Kaua'i Interscholastic Federation title and Division II state berth, as did Lahainaluna in the MIL Division II. Also clinching is the ILH's 'Iolani.

Only the BIIF Division II berth has yet to be determined. Konawaena can clinch it with a win at Kamehameha-Hawai'i Saturday.

The White JV championship will be played 2 p.m. Saturday when Kalaheo travels to Campbell.
