Kauai County honored for path's accessibility

The state Disability and Communications Access Board has recognized Kaua'i County for the accessible design of Ke Ala Makalae Phase II, a coastal bike and pedestrian path.

The Accessible Design Award program recognizes buildings, facilities and sites statewide that are not only accessible, but also enhance the users' entire experience while being aesthetically pleasing and functional.
