Christmas tree pre-sale is 4th grade's fundraiser

St. John Vianney School fourth-graders are selling Christmas trees to raise money for their annual Hawaiian studies trip to the Big Island.

Fresh-cut trees will be shipped directly to the school from the Or-West Christmas Tree Farm in Oregon in a refrigerated container.

Pickup will be from 8 a.m. to noon Nov. 29.

The cost is $65 for 6- to 7-foot Douglas fir or $75 for a 6- to 7-foot noble fir.

Some 200 trees were ordered and are selling on a first-come-first-served basis.

Pre-sale tickets are available at the school office, 940 Keolu Drive, or by calling 261-4651.
