Northwest swells still hitting northern shores

Associated Press

A series of northwest swells is keeping surf along north-facing shores in the 8- to 11-foot range today, the National Weather Service said.

Moderate surf 5 to 7 feet will be along west-facing shores, while south-facing shores will see surf 2 to 3 feet and east shores will see surf 2 to 4 feet.

The current moderate surf along north facing shores will gradually decline through Saturday. Another northwest swell will boost surf back near the 15 foot north shore advisory level late Sunday and Monday.
