Surf slowly decreasing along northern shores

Advertiser Staff

Surf will be decreasing to 5 to 7 feet today, the latest National Weather Service surf forecast said.

Surf will be increasing, however, along eastern shores to 4 to 6 feet.

Surf will be 3 to 5 feet along west shores today, and 2 to 3 feet along south shores.

After the current northwest swell subsides today, a new northwest swell will peak Sunday night and Monday at moderate levels. A larger northwest swell will arrive on Thursday, bringing surf near the advisory level of 15 feet for north-facing shores, the National Weather Service said.
