In recognition of World Diabetes Day, a special presentation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday at the Kohala Assembly of God Church.

Presented by Arnie Suntag, health educator and cancer survivor who has appeared on national television, the program will include screening of a popular new "reality-style" film: "Simply Raw — Reversing Diabetes in 30 Days."

Sponsored by Walk of Faith, a health education and community outreach program, this presentation will show how many chronic diseases can be reversed through diet and lifestyle changes — particularly type 2 diabetes, event organizers said.

The presentation is free and open to the general public. Come early for good seating.
