No one was injured earlier today when a vehicle crashed into a utility pole in the St. Louis Drive area.

The driver escaped injury but electrical power was lost for a while in the vicinity of St. Louis Drive, Wai'alae Avenue, Dole Street and as far down as Harding Avenue near Market City, as police officers directed traffic at the major intersections.

Power was restored with the exception of the area of the crash.

The incident was reported shortly after noon today.
