LIHU'E
Public invited to discuss Lihu'e's future growth

LIHU'E, Kaua'i — Kaua'i residents are invited to two town hall meetings this week to share their vision of Lihu'e's future.

An American Institute of Architect's Sustainable Design Assessment Team will facilitate the meetings, which will address development of the greater Lihu'e area over the next 30 years.

Ideas from the meetings may be incorporated into the county's updating of its Lihu'e Development Plan.

The meetings will be at 7-8:30 p.m. tomorrow and Friday at the Veterans Center. The project is sponsored by the Kaua'i Planning and Action Alliance, Kaua'i County and the Lihu'e Business Association. For more information go to: www.kauainetwork.org/growth-management-tools.asp.
