Molokai community meeting set

The Governor's Moloka'i Community Advisory Council will meet at 4 p.m. Tuesday to discuss strategies to conserve and resource management for Kawela and East Moloka'i.

The advisory council was created to give the Neighbor Islands a stronger voice in state government. The Moloka'i Community Advisory Council members are Robert Granger, Janice Kalanihuia, Jersula Manaba and Marlene Purdy.

Farley Watanabe, archaeologist for the U.S. Army Engineer District, Honolulu, will identify permitting and team-building strategies. The meeting will be at the DHHL/OHA conference room at 600 Maunaloa Highway in Kaunakakai.
