Surf: North Shore should reach 6 to 9 feet today

Advertiser Staff

Surf along north-facing shores on O'ahu has come down quite a bit from earlier this week, but wave faces of 6 to 9 feet are expected nonetheless, the National Weather Service said.

Elsewhere on O'ahu, look for surf of 4 to 6 feet along west-facing shores, 3 to 5 feet along east-facing shores and 1 to 3 feet along south-facing shores.

Outlook through Thursday, Nov. 20: A moderate sized, short-period north swell arriving on Sunday will will gradually shift to north northeasterly during the day Monday. This swell will bring the surf up to near advisory levels for east facing shores on Monday before tapering off Tuesday.
