A 47-year-old man was arrested last night in the Wahiawa area on suspicion of attempted second-degree murder.

The suspect allegedly slashed and stabbed a 31-year-old man with a knife, causing serious body injury. The alleged incident was reported at 8:30 p.m.

Police were able to locate, identify and arrest the suspect without incident.
