No arrests in Pearlridge Center stabbing

Advertiser Staff

An attempted murder investigation into the stabbing of a 17-year-old boy Saturday at Pearlridge Center has been assigned to the major-crimes detail.

Details about a fight involving a large group of teens at about 1:45 p.m. are sketchy but knives, brass knuckles and a BB gun were among the weapons involved, police said. The injured boy, who was stabbed twice, is in critical condition while another youth, 15, was treated for neck pains and released.

Police have made no arrests.
