The federal Social Security Office will hold a class on how to apply for retirement benefits online from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Leeward Community College's Biological Sciences Building, Room BS-106B.

Staff will teach those attending how to avoid a trip to the Social Security Office. Those within three months from age 62 or older, and who are planning to retire, are asked to register for the workshop.
