The Lanikai Elementary School library will host Family Reading Night from 6 to 8 p.m. Dec. 2.

There will be readings and presentations by local children's book authors and illustrators, including Ellie Crowe, Jennifer Fixman, Tammy Yee and the school's own art teacher, Kristi Petosa-Sigel.

Participants can pre-order books from the library to be available for pickup and signing at the event. Order deadline is tomorrow.
