Shanghai Tang, at Ala Moana Center, is hosting a special event Nov. 30 to support Gregory House Programs and its work in the community and as a way to acknowledge World AIDS Day.

The "elegant event" will run from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Shanghai Tang will also donate 10 percent of all proceeds from sales that evening and sales through World AIDS Day, Dec. 1, to Gregory House Programs.

"I wanted to do this to establish and fulfill a commitment to the Honolulu community. Gregory House is successful in fulfilling its mission of caring and compassion to the community, and we want to help that success continue," Shanghai Tang owner Scott Larson said in a prepared statement.

Shanghai Tang's Honolulu boutique at the Ala Moana Center opened its doors in 2002.
