A Keolu Hills man was arrested yesterday for allegedly punching and biting a police officer.

The man, 46, was being questioned by the officer for allegedly damaging a mailbox when the officer was punched in the head. During an ensuing struggle, the suspect also bit the officer on the bicep.

The suspect was arrested at 10:52 a.m. on the 700 block of Akumu Street in Keolu Hills.
