HULAVILLE GOES YULE

"A Christmas in Hulaville," featuring gypsy jazz ensemble Hot Club of Hulaville, is happening at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 1-2 at Manoa Valley Theatre.

Hot Club is composed of Sonny Silva, guitar; Duane Padilla, violin; Pierre Grill, accordion and piano; David Chiorini, contrabass. Vocalist Ginai and other surprise guests are part of the concerts.

Le Crepe Cafe's sweet and savory crepes and French wine will be available, too.

Hot Club of Hulaville's most recent gigs were at the Doris Duke Theatre and Mamiya Theatre.

SANTA'S COMING

Santa is scheduling his visits, including the 16th annual "Santa Saturday," from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 13 at Kapolei Shopping Center.

Among the attractions: free rides on an antique firetruck, holiday crafts and other activities, photos with Santa and more.

Kapolei High School's Leo Club will collect cash and canned food donations for the Hawaii Foodbank; in return, the first 200 donors will receive free poinsettia plants.
