The HPD Child Abuse unit is investigating the case of a 1-year-old girl from the Waipahu area who was brought to an Oahu hospital with a fractured skull.

A police report said the girl was being treated at Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children when doctors discovered the injury. After a preliminary investigation, police alerted the Child Abuse unit. Police say they have a suspect, a 32-year-old man.
