Weather will remain cloudy today

Advertiser Staff

The weather is supposed to be cloudy through out the day, but most of the rain has begun to move away, according to the National Weather Service.

Tradewinds will return and spread westward through the day and last through Wednesday. Those winds have brought a small craft advisory for the Alenuihaha and Pailolo channels and the waters south oft he Big Island and across from Ma'alaea Bay. On Thanksgiving, the winds will shift toward the southeast, as a new cold front approaches that will approach Kaua'i on Friday, the weather service reports.

For much of the state the rains diminished over night, except for a brief flare up over East O'ahu between midnight and 2 a.m., the weather service said.
