Warrior linebacker Elimimian is WAC defensive player of week

University of Hawai'i senior linebacker Solomon Elimimian was named Western Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week today.
Solomon had 13 tackles, including 10 solo and 2.5 of which went for losses in leading the Warriors to a 49-17 victory over Idaho Saturday at Aloha Stadium.
He also deflected a pass that resulted in an interception.
UH (6-5) plays Washington State 6:05 p.m. Saturday at Aloha Stadium,. A victory would insure a winning season and earn a berth in the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl Dec. 24.
