Meeting on Kauai bike path changed to Dec. 4

WAILUA – Kauai County officials have announced that the public information meeting on the next phase of the bike path, from Lydgate to Lihi Park, has been re-scheduled from Friday, Dec. 5 to Thursday, Dec. 4.
The meeting will be held from 7 to 9 pm. in the main pavilion at Lydgate Beach Park,
Information regarding various aspects of the project will be provided including:
• An update on the entire bike path.
• Progress report on the Lydgate to Lihi Park phase, including the design work and construction schedule.
• Review of the Wailua bridge design and construction schedule.
The presentation will be made by consultants Calvin Miyahara of KSF Inc. and Merle Grimes of MDG LLC.
A question and answer session will follow the presentation.
