Honolulu — KGMB9 has named Stacy Loe the new co-anchor of the weekday edition of KGMB9 News at 10. She will anchor alongside Keahi Tucker.

Loe joined the KGMB9 News team in 1990, and has anchored KGMB9 News on weekends since 1998. Starting as a general assignment reporter, she uncovered a series of government scandals and earned an Emmy Award for her work on KGMB9's special series, "Pearl Harbor."

Most recently, Loe broke a story that made national headlines when two go! Airlines pilots fell asleep in the cockpit.

Low grew up in Salt Lake and Hawaii Kai after she and her parents moved to Hawaii when she was 8 months old. She attended Kaiser High School and holds a degree in journalism from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

Loe will co-anchor KGMB9 News at 10 each weeknight beginning Dec. 1.

KGMB9 plans to announce Stacy Loe's replacement on the weekend edition of KGMB9 News in the coming weeks. The station recently announced the arrival of Tannya Joaquin to anchor KGMB9 News at 5 and join Keahi Tucker on KGMB9 News at 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
