CFB: Oregon State running back doubtful for Civil War

The Associated Press

CORVALLIS, Ore. — Oregon State coach Mike Riley says running back Jacquizz Rodgers is very doubtful for Saturday's Civil War game against Oregon.

Rodgers, who leads the Pac-10 Conference in rushing, injured his shoulder on Oregon State's second possession last Saturday against Arizona.

Riley says Rodgers has a second-degree sprain of his left shoulder.

No. 17 Oregon State (8-3, 7-1) plays No. 19 Oregon Saturday in the annual rivalry game between the two teams. If the Beavers win, they will play in the Rose Bowl on New Year's Day.
