4 teens suspects in Kauai crime spree

Kaua'i police arrested four boys last weekend as suspects in a recent crime spree on the island's west side.

The boys, ages 14 and 15, were arrested at their homes in Hanapepe, Pakala and Waimea for multiple offenses including auto theft, second degree theft and burglary. The youths are suspected of numerous offenses over the past month at Waimea Plantation Cottages and Waimea High School and police said stolen items were allegedly recovered at their homes.

The were booked as juveniles and released to their parents.
