Triple Crown of Surfing events postponed today

Advertiser Staff

The Vans Triple Crown of Surfing is postponed again today due to a lack of

quality waves on Oahu's North Shore.

The O'Neill World Cup of Surfing men's contest and the Roxy Pro women's

contest are still awaiting favorable conditions to arrive at Sunset Beach.

There will also be no competition tomorrow because of the Thanksgiving

holiday.

"Small surf has greeted us once again this morning and no competition will

be held today," said Randy Rarick, executive director of the Vans Triple

Crown. "There will be no competition tomorrow as it is Thanksgiving so we'll

all be back on Friday morning for a possible start. We're expecting sizable

surf over the weekend so we anticipate action to commence in the coming

days."

The O'Neill World Cup/Roxy Pro is the second of three events in the Triple

Crown series.
