No serious injuries 4-vehicle Kauai collision

Advertiser Staff

Five people were injured a four-vehicle collision last night on Kaua'i's Kuhi'o Highway in Wailua.

A woman, listed in fair condition at Wilcox Hospita with multiple injuries, was the most seriously injured. Two other adults and two children were treated for injuries at Wilcox and later released. A fourth adult involved in the incident was not injured.

Police said a Dodge Durango headed south on Kuhi'o Highway crossed a double solid yellow line and sideswiped a northbound Nissan pickup truck at a 6:22 p.m. The Durango then collided head-on with a northbound Toyota sedan, which was rear-ended by a Jeep, officials said.
