Refurbished van donated to Maui family in need

A needy Maui family was presented with a refurbished Chrysler Dodge Van at Waipahu's Oka's Auto Body this week.

The donation was made as part of the National Auto Body Council's Recycled Rides Program in conjunction with the Lokahi Giving Project.

State Farm Insurance donated the vehicle, while Lokahi found the Maui family. Oka's Auto Body coordinated the work on the project.

The following companies donated parts and services: Auto Recycling, Tony's EZ Dent, Performance Radiator, Darren's Tinting, Island Concepts, Rory's Auto Glass, Lex Brodie's, Cutter Dodge, George's Car Quest, Prism Group, Hawaii Power Tools, Varsity Motors, Miki Tiki's Spa, DND Towing and X-Lent Tow, and Flagship Fastlube.
