Three people escaped without injury when fire substantially damaged a four-bedroom house in Mililani last night, Fire Department spokesman Capt. Terry Seelig said.

An estimated 50 percent of the one-story home at 95-245 Hoeu St. sustained damage.

Seelig said the alarm was received at 8:06 p.m. and the fire was under control at 8:30.

The fire caused some damage to a house next door, Seelig said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
