Weather: Sunny, with a few passing showers

A high pressure area will remain north of the state through the remainder of the week, producing moderate to fresh trade winds, the National Weather Service said.

Stable atmospheric conditions and a relatively dry air mass have returned, forecasters said.

The weather will be mostly sunny except for passing showers that affect mainly the windward and mountain sections of the islands through early next week.

The remainder of the work week looks like this:

Today: Isolated showers. Partly cloudy, with a high near 80. East wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Tonight: Isolated showers. Partly cloudy, with a low around 71. East wind around 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Thursday: Isolated showers. Partly cloudy, with a high near 82. East wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Thursday Night: Isolated showers. Partly cloudy, with a low around 72. East wind around 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Friday: Isolated showers. Partly cloudy, with a high near 82. East wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
