KAHUKU
Diabetes/blood pressure screening free Saturday

The Kidney Early Evaluation Program (KEEP) will do free health screening for diabetes and high blood pressure from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday in the Kahuku High School cafeteria.

The testing includes hypertension, diabetes, anemia, cholesterol, kidney function, urine dipstick, calcium, phosphorous and bone health.

The event is sponsored by state Rep. Michael Magaoay, D-46th (Kahuku, North Shore, Schofield).

Participants must be 18 years or older and should fast for eight hours before the tests.
