Weather: Mostly sunny with a few passing showers

A high pressure area north of the state will keep moderate trade winds blowing today and well into next week, the National Weather Service said.

Showers will affect mostly windward slopes, but may drift over to leeward areas at times.

Here's how the weekend is shaping up:

Today: Mostly sunny, with a high near 82. East wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Tonight: Isolated showers. Partly cloudy, with a low around 72. East wind between 11 and 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 82. East wind around 14 mph.

Saturday Night: Isolated showers. Partly cloudy, with a low around 72. East wind between 11 and 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Sunday: Isolated showers. Partly cloudy, with a high near 82. East wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Sunday Night: Isolated showers. Partly cloudy, with a low around 72. East wind between 11 and 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
