NEIL SEDAKA TICKETS

Tickets go on sale today for Neil Sedaka's Dec. 11 concert at Blaisdell Concert Hall — his first in the municipal facility.

In previous visits, he sang at the Hawai'i Theatre and the Kahala Hilton/Kahala Resort. Early in his career, in the late 1950s, he also played at the Civic Auditorium.

Sedaka, a prolific singer, composer and pianist, will perform at 7:30 p.m. He is known for hits including "Breaking Up Is Hard to Do," "The Diary," "Oh! Carol," "Calendar Girl," "Solitaire," "Happy Birthday Sweet Sixteen" and "Laughter in the Rain."

Tickets: $25, $37.50, $45. 877-750-4400, www.ticketmaster.com.

THE BANGLES ON THE EVE

The Bangles, the 1980s pop icon all-female band, is coming for a New Year's Eve concert at the Hilton Hawaiian Village.

Three original members — Susanna Hoffs, Debbi Peterson and Vicki Peterson — will perform hits such as "Walk Like an Egyptian," "Manic Monday" and "Eternal Flame." The trio's latest disc is "Doll Revolution," released in 2003 after a breakup and 15-year hiatus.

The Bangles are scheduled to take the stage at 10:45 p.m. Dec. 31 and perform until midnight. Doors open at 9 p.m.

Tickets are $90 and $130; and $200 VIP. 550-8457, www.honoluluboxoffice.com.
