Weather: Mostly sunny today, tomorrow

A high pressure area to the north of the islands will keep moderate trade winds blowing into the middle of the new work week, the National Weather Service said.

What showers there are will affect mostly windward slopes, with a few passing showers finding there way into leeward areas at times.

Here's a more detailed look at what to expect this weekend:

Today: Sunny, with a high near 82. East wind around 14 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph.

Tonight: Isolated showers. Partly cloudy, with a low around 72. East wind between 11 and 13 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 82. East wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph.

Sunday Night: Isolated showers. Partly cloudy, with a low around 72. East wind between 11 and 14 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Monday: Isolated showers. Partly cloudy, with a high near 82. East wind around 14 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
