University of Hawaii Alumni Association members will receive special discounts of 50 percent off ticket prices (maximum of eight tickets per event) for this week's games in football and volleyball.

The games will be Saturday's football game against Louisiana Tech and women's volleyball matches Friday against Louisiana Tech and Sunday against New Mexico State.

The football game at Aloha Stadium kicks off at 6:05 p.m. The volleyball matches at Stan Sheriff begin 7 p.m. Friday and 5 p.m. Sunday.

A valid UHAA membership card is required when purchasing tickets at the Stan Sheriff Center or the Aloha Stadium box offices. Tickets are in special sections and supplies are limited. Other restrictions may apply.

If you're an alumnus but not a UHAA member, go UHAA online, print your membership confirmation e-mail and bring it to the ticket office as a temporary proof of membership to receive the discount. If you joined online before Sept. 16, 2008, do not have your membership card, or would like to join UHAA offline, please contact Roxanne Kam at the Alumni Relations office at (808) 956-0469 for assistance.

"Alumni Night" discounts also will be available for the Dec. 6 Cincinnati football game and the Nov. 28 Cal Poly volleyball match.

Other activities will be available during the Louisiana Tech football game.

Keiki can go to the new "Warrior Activity Tent" (in front of the stadium ticket office), to have their face painted for free.

The "Chevron Family Fun Zone" (in the stadium parking lot near pole 29 and behind section 13, next to the "Aloha Zone") features rides, contests, and full-filled inflatables from Xtreme Fun Rentals.

"Family Pack" ticket discounts, which provide savings on student tickets (ages 4-high school), also are available.
