Surf: Big north swell due to arrive on Sunday

Advertiser Staff

Surf along north- and south-facing shores on O'ahu is expected to be 1 to 3 feet today, the National Weather Service said.

Surf of 1 to 2 feet is expected along west-facing shores, while 2 to 4 feet is likely for east-facing shores, forecasters said.

Outlook through Wednesday, Oct. 15: North-facing shores will see generally small surf through Saturday. A large northwest swell expected Sunday will produce advisory level surf, above 15 ft, along north-facing shores into Monday.
