Surf: Small today, but big north swell is on the way

Advertiser Staff

Surf along the north-facing shores of Oahu will be 1 to 2 feet through today, the National Weather Service said.

Elsewhere, look for surf of 2 feet or less along west-facing shores, 3 to 5 feet along east-facing shores and 1 to 3 feet along south-facing shores.

Outlook through Thursday, Oct. 16: A large northwest swell will arrive on Sunday, and will likely produce surf above the 15-foot advisory level along north-facing shores through Tuesday.
