NEW YORK — Four players — including Maui's Shane Victorino — and three coaches have been fined by Major League Baseball for their Game 3 fracas during the NL championship series.

Dodgers outfielder Manny Ramirez and pitcher Hiroki Kuroda were disciplined along with third-base coach Larry Bowa and first-base coach Mariano Duncan.

Phillies pitcher J.C. Romero and Victorino, and outfielder, were penalized along with first-base coach Davey Lopes.

Kuroda threw a pitch behind Victorino's head in the third inning Sunday, apparently retaliation for Philadelphia's Brett Myers throwing behind Ramirez in Game 2.

Kuroda was fined $7,500, Ramirez was docked $2,500, Duncan got $1,000 and Bowa $500, Dodgers manager Joe Torre said.

Victorino was fined $2,500 and Lopes and Romero $1,000 each, Phillies manager Charlie Manuel said.
