TONIGHT'S MUST-SEE

"Chuck," 7 p.m., NBC. By now, Chuck is wildly in love with Sarah the real spy. She kind of likes him, too. The trouble starts when her ex-boyfriend Bryce returns. They've been very close — which we see in the fun, flashy opening scene. There's also a story at the Buy More, with former football star Michael Strahan as a bully. That part is so-so, but the Chuck-Sarah-Bryce story is immensely entertaining.

OF NOTE

"SpongeBob SquarePants," 5 p.m., Nickelodeon. Feeling unwanted, Bob runs away, bumps his head and forgets who he is. It's a fun episode, transplanted to prime time; a SpongeBuck cowboy tale follows at 5:30.

"The Sting" (1973), 5 p.m., AMC. As a tribute to the late Paul Newman, AMC inserts this dandy film about con artists. It won seven Oscars, including best actor.

"Dancing With the Stars" (7 p.m.) and "Samantha Who?" (8:31 p.m.), ABC. The "Samantha" season opener links to its lead-in. Mark Ballas, a "Dancing With the Stars" pro, plays a ringer who's the partner of Paula (Cybill Shepherd), the nemesis of Sabrina's mom, who's also in the dance contest.

"Heroes," 8 p.m., NBC. Claire begins her villain-stopping mission, using HRG's list.

"Worst Week," 8:30 p.m., CBS. Already off to a great start, the show finally has the couple tell her parents she's pregnant.

"My Own Worst Enemy" debut, 9 p.m., NBC. Henry has a decent job (efficiency expert), a nice wife, two kids and an uneventful life. He doesn't know officials can snap him into his alternate persona as Edward, the superspy. But what happens when the two lives merge? Yes, the plot is a stretch. Still, both halves are interesting; Christian Slater is believable as Henry and Edward.

"Boston Legal," 9:01 p.m., ABC. Ally Walker plays Alan's old girlfriend. With mixed feelings, he defends her husband.
