'Las Vegas Tenors' ticket sales Saturday

Advertiser Staff

"An Evening With the Las Vegas Tenors," a hit attraction at the Las Vegas HIlton Concert Theatre, will make its Honolulu premiere at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 15 at the Pikake Theater at Blaisdell Center. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

The trio — comprised of Bill Fayne, Bobby Black and Teddy Davey — specializes in what it calls "popera," an eclectic genre that taps the classics, opera, and Broadway, matching the varied backgrounds and accomplishments by each member.

Fayne is a classically trained trouper whose passion is opera and Broadway, Black is more adept with the music of Bon Jovi, Garth Brooks and some opera, and Davey has links to theater, pop music and classic Italian favorites.

At the Hilton in the gambling capital, The Las Vegas Tenors have been playing to packed houses. The Pikake is a 600-seat facility.

Tickets: $75 (reserved seats), with a portion of the proceeds benefiting HUGS, the family services charity; on sale Saturday at Ticketmaster locations, including the Blaisdell box office, Times Supermarket locations, and Macy's O'ahu stores.

Charge by phone: 877-750-4400, or online at www.ticketmaster.com.
