Electrical service restored to parts of Pearl City

The electricity is back on in the homes and business of about 2,000 Hawaiian Electric customers in the Pearl City area, said utility company spokesman Darren Pai.
Another 5,500 customers in the Pearl City, Waipahu and Ocean Pointe areas remain without power at this time.
Pai said HECO troubleshooters have not determine what cause the power to go out about 3:45 a.m. today.
